Australian Aboriginal art is now recognized in both Australia and internationally as one of the world's most exciting art movements. This exhibition of prints, select canvases and supporting posters and photographs will introduce a number of artists and styles as well as the aboriginal culture to Amman.

Since the early 1980's prints by Aboriginal artists have been widely exhibited both in Australia and overseas increasing the accessibility and public appreciation of Aboriginal artists. For many Aboriginal artists the use of printmaking methods is like an extension of traditional practice.  The artists now preserve their traditional 'dreaming' and stories on canvas and paper rather than in the sand of the desert.
